BODY BLAST WITH CATHERINE - MONDAY AT 9.30am
Start your week with a fitness blast. This is a high impact aerobics class that incorporates core strength work and body toning.
AQUACISE WITH MAIRI – MONDAY AT 6pm
This is a leading water fitness programme from the STA (Scottish Teacher’s Association) which helps you get fit and stay fit. It is a great, fun way to increase your stamina and endurance and tone and strengthen your muscles. We will use water dumbbells and aqua jogging belts to get you fit and strong. The natural buoyancy of water reduces stress on the joints and allows greater ease and range of movement. This class is for everyone, including non-swimmers, so come along and enjoy a super water work out!
CIRCUITS WITH SARAH – WEDNESDAY AT 5.30PM
This is a high energy one-stop exercise class that combines cardiovascular activity, toning and resistance training. You can take part in a circuit class regardless of your level of fitness. There is a diversity of exercises within a class and you can work at an intensity level that suits you. Circuits can be very psychologically rewarding as you can really push yourselves and set your own goals. The benefits of circuits can be summed up with a few words: “Maximum results in the minimum time”. It provides excellent all round fitness, tone and strength.
THE OLD FAVOURITES - Do not forget about AQUA AEROBICS, BUMS & TUMS and DEEP WATER…..
AQUA AEROBICS WITH CATHERINE – THURSDAY AT 11.30AM
This class offers you the opportunity to do an aerobic workout in water. The unique physical properties of water provide an ideal environment for exercise. The density of water helps the toning effects and assists in the strengthening of muscles with greater balance and efficiency. Come along for a fun filled hour of aerobics with great music and good vibes!
BUMS & TUMS WITH CATHERINE – THURSDAY AT 12.30PM
This class that aims to improve core and muscular strength and to tone and sculpt those problem areas! It is aimed to give your body all over conditioning with a mix of aerobics and toning. It is a class for people of all fitness levels and you can work at an intensity that suits you.
DEEP WATER WITH MAIRI – FRIDAY AT 11.30
This class provides all the benefits detailed above with the differences being that all the exercises are done in deep water with a buoyancy aid and it is not a choreographed class so no co-ordination is requires. This is an excellent class for anyone with joint problems, anyone new or returning to exercise and anyone with a sports injury.
