Mallaig & District Swimming Pool

Mallaig and District Swimming Pool is a not-for-profit facility run for the benefit of the local community by a committee of dedicated volunteers and staffed by permanent, trained personnel. This was made possible by the generosity of the local community and others including Sir Cameron Mackintosh, the Lochaber District Council, Lochaber Limited and the Highland Council.

We work hard to run profitably and this is only achieved by providing our customers with a great service, a warm welcome, and a total committment to the health, fitness, happiness and relaxation of our users. The day to day running of the pool is the responsibility of the manager, who reports to a board of directors drawn from the wider community. The pool also benefits from a dedicated fundraising group - The friends of MDSP - who work closely with the board of directors and manager to generate funds for the pool.
